The “Musical Tones” crammed the brand new city corridor of Patras – 2024-06-25 23:53:20

The atrium of the brand new City Corridor of Patras on the night of Friday 21 June was stuffed with music lovers who attended the live performance organized by the Patras Worldwide Competition to have a good time European Music Day.

The forecourt of the Metropolis Corridor was “flooded” by “Musical Tones” which included the presentation of an anthology of favourite songs, written by excellent Greek authors.

The music creation ensemble Evikoon Melos will be part of forces with musicians from the area people, providing an unforgettable musical expertise and take the viewers on a singular musical journey

Composer and performer Iro, two of the most effective choirs of Patras, participated within the live performance. The multi-award profitable VelCantes (Parish of Agios Andreas Eglycada) with maestro Elena Droukopoulou and the fantastic vocal ensemble “CoroAvanti” (“Orfea” of Patras) directed by soloist Lina Geronikou.

Through the live performance, timeless songs composed by D. Panton, N. Piovani, M. Theodorakis, Dinkjian – Nikolakopoulou, M. Plessa, D. Savopoulou, M. Vamvakaris, Th. Mikroutsikou, M. Loizou, I. Carreno, they are going to flood the forecourt of the brand new Metropolis Corridor of Patras, sending the message of peace, solidarity and tradition, which this explicit day stands for.

The live performance was attended by the deputy mayor for Tradition Apostolis Angelis, the deputy mayor for Greens and Sports activities Panagiotis (Takis) Petropoulos, the adviser to the Mayor Ok. Peletidis for the coordination of cultural buildings Ira Kouri, municipal and district councilors.
