Bordeaux wine: auctions organized in a Médoc château usher in 1.8 million euros

Auctions of a prestigious Bordeaux wine introduced in 1.8 million euros on Sunday throughout a sale organized at Château Ducru-Beaucaillou within the Médoc, Swiss home Baghera Wines introduced on Monday.

The flagship lot of this sale was organized for the tercentenary of the property established in 1720, a 225 liter cask from the 2022 classic bought for €54,900 and one other from the 2023 classic bought for €46,360 – exceeding the low estimate in each circumstances. One other notably widespread social gathering, six bottles from the 1953 classic discovered a purchaser for 36,600 euros.
