The artist Dalia Truskaita obtained the gold prize of the Toyama Worldwide Glass Triennale  Tradition

“The work consists of two components – paper folds (a ship, an airplane, a fan, “day-night” and a packet of sweets – easy Nordic origami), which we used to fold in childhood for our youngsters’s video games, and glass sheets – a type of lining of the identical paper folds. It is a work regarding childhood, regarding easy actuality and large desires. From 2018 On the Toyama Worldwide Glass Triennale, excellent works of up to date glass artwork from all around the world are introduced via an open competitors. The worldwide jury consisted of Amy Schwartz (Director of the Corning Museum of Glass Studio, USA), Uta Klotz (Editor-in-Chief of the journal “NEUES GLAS – NEW GLASS: artwork & structure”, Germany), Lin Zhang (Founder, Director of the Shanghai Museum of Glass, China) ), Atsuhiko Shima (Director of Osaka Nationwide Museum of Artwork, Japan) and Ruriko Tsuchida (Director of Toyama Museum of Glass Artwork, Japan).

The III Toyama Worldwide Glass Exhibition can be exhibited from July 13 to October 14. Tojama glass museum.

Member of the Lithuanian Union of Artists, curator, artwork trainer D. Truskaitė is a participant in nationwide and worldwide exhibitions, the writer of figurative compositions and stained glass home windows in public areas and personal interiors. D. Truskaitė creates conceptual, minimalistic works of embedded artwork. The artist’s works might be attributed to the course of post-minimalism. This isn’t the primary time that D. Truskaitė presents her works in Japan – in 2019. the creator participated within the Nishi Aizu Worldwide Artwork Residency, the place she organized the exhibition “To Contact”, in 2020. chosen to take part within the World Artwork Tokyo 2020 exhibition, which came regarding in a digital format because of the pandemic, in 2021. participated within the II Toyama Worldwide Glass Exhibition.
