The Authorities of Venezuela rejected the assertion by the leaders of the G7 – Germany, Canada, the US, France, Italy, Japan and the UK – relating to the July 28 elections.
The multilateral group requested the Venezuelan authorities to permit worldwide remark within the presidential elections and respect the rights of the opposition.

The G7 printed its declaration – following the summit held in Italy – wherein they demanded “the tip of harassment of members of the opposition and the quick launch of all political prisoners.”
“Our revolutionary democracy will inform you this July 28, once more, that we’re free and sovereign and that its lackeys (in reference to the opposition grouped within the Democratic Unitary Platform, PUD) won’t return,” added the Venezuelan international minister.
