Vacationer ship threatened to sink – 76 passengers rescued in Grado

All passengers have been dropped at security in time with lifeboats, because the Grado coast guard confirmed to the APA. Nobody was injured.

The ship was touring from Grado in direction of Trieste when water entered the engine compartment. The captain then raised the alarm. After the emergency measures, solely the crew remained on board. The ship, in-built 2023, was to be towed ashore, it was mentioned. Coast guard ships and helicopters coordinated the rescue operation.
