Fiona Harvey initially claimed publicly that she was the inspiration for the character Martha. She mentioned she bore a bodily resemblance to her and was, like her, a lawyer in London. Now she has filed a lawsuit in federal courtroom in Los Angeles.
In it, she argues that Netflix and the sequence’ creator, Richard Gadd, went too far by suggesting within the sequence that she was sentenced to 5 years in jail for stalking and harassing an individual. She is neither a stalker nor has she been incarcerated.
