In a submit on ‘X’, the Washington embassy in Beirut confirmed that “at 8.34 am native time, pictures have been reported with small arms close to the doorway of the American embassy”. The diplomatic workers needed to “thank the Lebanese military and our Embassy safety group for the short response” which allowed “our facility and our group to be secure. Investigations are ongoing and we’re in shut contact with the host nation’s legislation enforcement companies” concludes the tweet.
