settlement for Sicily –

The Program Settlement on using sources from the FSC Improvement and Cohesion Fund was signed by the Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and the President of the Sicilian Area, Renato Schifani, on the Teatro Massimo in Palermo. Additionally current was the Minister for European Affairs and Cohesion Raffaele Fitto. The plan allocates a complete of six billion and 822 million euros for Sicily, of which 1.3 billion for the Strait Bridge. A complete of 580 interventions are anticipated. Total, there are 9 areas of intervention envisaged by the settlement. For “Schooling and coaching” 80 million are anticipated; for the “Vitality” sector 67.5 million; lastly, 89 million will go to the “Administrative capacity-technical help” motion line. Moreover, 331.9 million of FSC sources 2021-2027 are supposed to co-finance the European Packages of the Sicilian Area. Added to those funds are 234 million euros in FSC advances.
