The amount of alcohol produced in Latvia elevated by 77.7%

The LETA company reviews this on the subject of indicators of the turnover of excisable items compiled by the State Income Service (SRS).

Typically, in Latvia over the three months, an absolute quantity of three.081 million liters of alcohol was produced, which is 1.347 million liters greater than within the three months of 2023.

Of those, the amount of ethyl alcohol produced in three months amounted to three.081 million liters of absolute alcohol, which is 77.7% greater than in three months of 2023.

The amount of ethyl alcohol imported into Latvia in three months amounted to 886,430 liters of absolute alcohol, which is 3.6 instances lower than in three months of 2023.

Over three months, the amount of ethyl alcohol bought in Latvia elevated 3.2 instances, or by 1.672 million liters of absolute alcohol – this 12 months 2.445 million liters of absolute alcohol had been bought in three months, and in three months of 2023 – 773,680 liters of absolute alcohol .

Over three months, ethyl alcohol within the quantity of 496,570 liters of absolute alcohol was exported and exported to different EU member international locations, which is 43.3% lower than in three months of 2023.

LETA has already reported that in 2023 the quantity of alcohol produced in Latvia has elevated by 2.3 instances in comparison with 2022. Typically, in Latvia in 2023, absolutely the quantity of alcohol produced was 9.793 million liters, which is 5.437 million liters greater than in 2022.
