A Qatari court has released 8 Indian Navy officers who were sentenced to death for allegedly spying for Israel.
According to the reports of foreign news organizations, the Qatari court pronounced the decision following the announcement of the pardon of the Emir of Qatar, Tama bin Hamad.
A Qatari court in October last year sentenced all Indian soldiers to death on charges of spying for Israel, following which India announced to take up the matter with the Qatari authorities.
