Dr. Boum is tired of seeing Mystifix get all the attention. Determined to prove to the world that he is the greatest inventor of Azeroth, he has secretly developed something terrible, something gigantic, something… AMAZING!
The Incredible Inventions of Dr. Boum mini set contains 38 new cards. Get them in the Mystifix Workshop packs or in a complete mini set of 72 cards*. The regular version is available for €14.99 or 2000 gold. The mini set in golden version can be purchased for €69.99 or 10,000 gold coins. The Incredible Inventions of Dr. Boom miniset introduces the new keyword Gigantification! It is the perfect antithesis of miniaturization. Whenever you play a card with Gigantification, you get an 8/8 copy of it with 8 mana crystals in your hand. It’s huge!
Balance changes for Hearthstone
Comment from the development team: spring last balance update, which made over 35 changes designed to bring the game towards the goals we set for ourselves, has changed things quite a bit in standard mode. With so many changes, we’ve planned an extra update to tweak the balance and quickly adjust the new dominant cards that have taken hold. The regular hotfix update will arrive shortly following this one, once you’ve had time to familiarize yourself with the new miniset cards and the new meta.

New Season of Unexpected Mode: Heroism of Mystifix
Unexpected Mode is back with a gigantic season this June: Heroism of Mystifix! During this season, you will be able to play new heroines and heroes with corresponding decks, their heroic powers and a unique passive effect.
Each hero or heroine becomes available when you have the legendary card corresponding to them (ie the first card bearing the character’s name, with the exception of Illidan, which is unlocked with the character’s Metamorphosis card).
Mystifix Heroism will feature 19 characters at launch:

* These characters are unlocked with cards from the Core Set and will therefore be automatically available at the start of the season.
**Both of these cards were free login rewards in previous expansions. If you don’t have them, C’Thun is unlocked from the pack opening screen with a Whispers of the Old Gods pack. Kael’thas unlocks the same way, but with an Ashes of Outland pack.
Arena updates
On May 14, all current Arena series will end and a new Arena season will begin. The rules and selection of the Arena will not change, except that cards from the Incredible Inventions of Dr. Boom miniset will be available. However, random creation and discovery effects will only draw from Ashes of Outland and later sets.
In-Game Event: Dr. Boom’s Alley of Mischievous Toys
It goes without saying that Dr. Boum’s inventions are incredible, but two of them… are even more so. From May 21 to June 11, complete event missions to earn Event EXP points in a special reward lane. Complete the reward track to get 6 packs of Mystifix’s Workshop and the Thunder Monkey hero skin for the Shaman class.
Bug fixes and improvements
- Comment from the development team: In addition to the additions to the progression system and the information we communicate regarding them, we are also working on changes that might not be implemented with this update. The next update for weekly missions will come with update 29.4.2.
- [Hearthstone] Féplouf snapshots are now based on the current order of the cards in your hand, instead of chronological order. For example, cards with Miniaturization will appear where they are in your hand at the time of the snapshot, even if they were added there following other cards.
- [Hearthstone] The order of finding Illidan’s gift has been adjusted to match the card text.
- [Hearthstone] Fixed an issue that allowed the headless rider to detach when his head was pulled (it’s nice to have the head back, but the body should remain frozen).
- [Hearthstone] Fixed an issue that prevented Open Cages from triggering when this secret was generated by Mystery Watcher.
- [Hearthstone] Fixed a display issue on mobile devices that made it difficult to read the opponent’s Secrets Zone. Fixed a similar screen issue on mobile devices, which prevented owners from seeing played secrets in their possession.
- [Hearthstone] Fixed an issue with Dr. Rafistole that might in very rare cases cause connection drops.
- [Hearthstone] Fixed an issue with Chia Drake’s spell damage bonus, which might disappear if he switched sides or was copied.
- [Hearthstone] Fixed an issue with the costumed candidate doubling Magtheridon’s Sleeping, Chained effects if she assumed the appearance. This is out of character!
- [Hearthstone] Fixed an issue with Fairytale Jelly text not updating for the opponent.
- [Hearthstone] Fixed an issue with Spirit of the Badlands, which might generate an additional Mirage in hand. It started to create many mirages.
- [Hearthstone] Fixed an issue that prevented Crimson Wastes from creating similar copies in certain situations.
- [Hearthstone] Fixed an issue that sometimes prevented Fel Scale Evoker’s effects from applying correctly.
- [Champs de bataille] Fixed an issue with the rating display on tablets, which might get stuck at 0.
- [Champs de bataille] Fixed an issue with Sea Matriarch’s effects, which might be disabled when the card was tripled with Elemental of Surprise.
- [Champs de bataille] Fixed an issue with Viscous Fel Blood effects that might also apply to your partner’s Tavern when activated in battle.
- [Champs de bataille] Fixed an issue that might freeze your partner’s game if you passed them a minion during card or effect selection.
- [Champs de bataille] Fixed an issue where giving a minion to your partner while you already possessed a copy of that minion resulted in a triple. Your partner might then do nothing but play the triple card.
- [Champs de bataille] Fixed an issue that prevented minions affected by Doubtful Stimulus from passing if they were in your hand.
- [Hauts faits] Fixed an issue that blocked the progression of the achievement Tic-tac BOOM! following Bomboss Tho’grun’s effects wear off.
- [Objets ornementaux] Fixed an issue that prevented your favorite coin models from being generated during gameplay.
- [Éléments ornementaux] Fixed an issue with the animation of Halveria Black Raven’s Hero Power.
- [Objets ornementaux] Fixed several incorrect rarity levels in the Heroic Model Collection for Battlegrounds.
