This consular trip is part of the proximity policy carried out by the Consulate General of Morocco in Almeria for the benefit of the Moroccan community, in accordance with the High Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and the directives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, of African Cooperation and Moroccans living abroad, said a press release from the Moroccan consular representation on Sunday.
The deployment of this mobile Consulate attracted a large turnout from the public who expressed their extreme gratitude for the great concern with which the Sovereign extends to the Moroccan community residing abroad.
Some 500 consular services were provided during this mobile consulate which allowed beneficiaries not only to proceed with consular registration and collection of their personal documents such as biometric passports and national electronic identity cards, but also to formulate the request for issuance for the first time or the request for renewal.
Furthermore, this mobile consulate made it possible to help several Unaccompanied Minors to request the personal documents necessary for the regularization of their administrative situation, specifies the same source.
With the same objective, adapted services were provided for the benefit of certain people who were unable to travel to the headquarters of the mobile consulate for health reasons.
It should be noted that the city of Granada welcomes a large Moroccan community, made up of students, university professors, traders, businessmen and professionals belonging to several sectors of economic activity, concludes the press release. .
