Public Health France published on November 28, 2022 and June 7, 2023 a call for projects for the renewal of the five national missions for the prevention of healthcare-associated infections and antibiotic resistance (including the proper use of antibiotics), for a period of 5 years, from October 1, 2023 to September 30, 2028. These missions were officially named on October 1, 2023.
Following the withdrawal of one of the two partners selected for the implementation of the SPICMI mission, Public Health France has decided to publish a new call for projects specifically for this mission. Applications must cover the period from October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2028.
Reminder of the generalities of the mandate
The mandate of the SPICMI mission will last for a period of four years. The CPias will be appointed by decision of the Directorate General of Public Health France, to carry out the SPICMI mission from October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2028.
To support Public Health France in carrying out this management, a committee of national missions for healthcare-associated infections and antibiotic resistance (CominaPIA) was set up within its General Directorate to define the missions and support Public Health France in the selection of new holders for 2024/2028.
