People’s ANIMO to own subsidized housing is increasing. The ease of the credit process at affordable prices is the main reason people choose subsidized housing as their first residence.
One of the subsidized houses currently being developed is the Villa Kencana Cikarang housing complex by the Arrayan Group. The number of residents and economic activities in residential areas are becoming busier from time to time.
Standing on approximately 100 hectares of land in Cikarang, the Vila Kencana Cikarang subsidized housing complex began construction in 2016 and was inaugurated by President Joko Widodo in 2017. The process of handing over housing to consumers has also been carried out since 2017.
Marketing Director of PT Alexandra Citra Pertiwi (Arrayan Group) Tuti Mugiastuti explained that the subsidized houses that have been sold at Villa Kencana Cikarang are less than 7,500 units with the number of heads of families (KK) reaching 6,000 families.
“With a number this large, we can be sure that the Villa Kencana Cikarang area is lively and very busy. “Culinary followingnoons are a destination for the residents of Villa Kencana Cikarang, even residents from outside the housing complex also come here to look for food,” said Tuti.
The thing that makes Villa Kencana Cikarang very lively, continued Tuti, the Villa Kencana Cikarang housing complex has three gates which provide access to this area which connects the village road and the main road.

So that residents can pass by Villa Kencana Cikarang. In fact, currently there is a trial of public transportation entering the Villa Kencana Cikarang location to serve residents using public transportation.
“In addition, with the commercial area starting to be marketed on the Villa Kencana Cikarang boulevard, it is certain that it will be increasingly busy and economically vibrant here,” said Tuti.
The available facilities are increasingly complete and continue to be added by the developer, Arrayan Group. For example, a large children’s playground, a large mosque which is strategically located so that it can be reached by housing residents.

Apart from that, there are also sports facilities, including a futsal field and volleyball court. And of course the main roads and neighborhood roads are smooth and wide. Then there are also shophouse shopping facilities that sell daily necessities for residents.
In the Villa Kencana Cikarang area there is also a water pond which covers an area of around 5 thousand square meters. This facility will function as a water reservoir, as well as water absorption. In fact, this water pond is equipped with a sluice gate which regulates the water discharge when the water rises.
Regarding several empty houses, according to Tuti, this happened because the residential owners had other reasons for not leaving their homes. However, Tuti ensured that this was not related to minimal environmental facilities or problems with the developer.

“Empty houses can also be found in other housing complexes,” he said.
Of the several houses that were empty following checking by estate management, it was more due to occupant factors, such as the impact of Covid which caused many layoffs so that the homeowners returned home. There were also those who moved for work to Jakarta, and their houses were left empty and several other things. The resident’s internal problems made him vacate the house.
Even though currently Arrayan is no longer building subsidized houses, it still has a clear commitment, namely maintaining the environment of Villa Kencana Cikarang, so that it remains safe and comfortable for its residents. However, this commitment will not work well if there is no support from environmental administrators, such as RT/RW and all residents.
For your information, the construction of subsidized houses at Villa Kencana Cikarang was completed around 8 years ago and since then Arrayan Group as the developer has no longer built subsidized houses at Villa Kencana Cikarang. (Z-8)
