They sell fruit and vegetable products without intermediaries at Family Farming fairs

Asunción, IP Agency.- A total of 525 families and 30 organizations participate in the two Family Agriculture Fairs without intermediaries with the consumer, on the Costanera of Asunción and the esplanade of the Marketing Directorate – Mariscal Estigarribia almost Saturio Ríos de San Lorenzo – from 7:00 a.m., while supplies last.

The fairs are promoted by the Government through technical departments of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, in order to promote the development and dynamism of the productivity of rural families in the country, in cooperation with Itaipu Binacional and UNOPS in Paraguay.

The activities benefit small producers from the departments of Central, Itapúa, Paraguarí, Alto Paraná, San Pedro and Caaguazú.

Tomato at a lower cost

At these fairs, buyers will be able to access fresh products, such as tomatoes, which are offered at a lower cost; as well as quality inputs such as Paraguay cheese, pork, suckling pig, goat, sheep, homemade chicken, duck and fish.

Also homemade egg, corn, corn flour, red beans, honey, peanuts, peky butter beans, habilla, peky beans, starch, pepper, cassava, sweet potatoes, greens in general and seasonal fruits; in addition to grains in general, a variety of typical and traditional foods, crafts, flowers and plants, among others.
