In order to evaluate the actions carried out in the Santo Domingo de Guzmán stadium in Mixcowhere the match between Deportivo Mixco and Club Social Municipal will be played on Saturday, May 11, technical staff from the Mitigation Directorate of the National Coordinator for Disaster Reduction (Conred) carried out a field visit that concluded with The facility does not comply with safety regulations.
The stadium is made up of a field area, a concrete stand and two masonry buildings for service use.
Personnel from the Municipality of Mixco informed Conred that the fixed stands have the capacity to 5 thousand people.

Metal profiles and piles located at street level are some of the elements implemented in the structures of the stands.
Nor was the enabling of additional emergency exits considered, as part of the implementation and increase in capacity, the institution warns.
As part of the visit, Conred personnel determined that The stadium only has a means of evacuation for the fixed stands and a connection to the public road through the court.
