The Ephorate of Antiquities of Achaia will implement on Sunday May 19 from 11.00-13.00 an educational activity entitled: “Eὐκleῶς τοι καθάνεῖν χαρισ φροτῷ”, which is aimed at families with children aged 10 and over.
The action in question includes a presentation of selected exhibits from the Mycenaean era, which are on display at the Archaeological Museum of Patras. Participants will have the opportunity, during their tour, to see unfold before them a battle between two warriors in the hall of the Public Life and the burial of the dead warrior in the chamber tomb, located in the hall of the Necropolis.
The above battle and warrior burial scenario will be presented through innovative Augmented Reality (AR) technologies utilizing the museum’s physical objects (exhibits) to enhance the visitor experience.
