Nikos Michaloliakos’ will to be released from prison comes under the “microscope” of the Lamia Appeals Council.
This development came following the appeal filed today by the Deputy Prosecutor of Appeals of Lamia, Nikitas Theologitis, once morest the decision of the Council of Misdemeanors of Lamia which accepted the request for conditional release of Nikos Michaloliakos.
It is recalled that Nikos Michaloliakos was convicted in the first instance for his role as the director of the Golden Dawn criminal organization to a prison sentence of 13 years and six months.
According to information, the appeal was filed on the grounds that Nikos Michaloliakos does not meet the essential conditions for his conditional dismissal, as his online publications in favor of Golden Dawn, which are directly related to the conviction once morest him, demonstrate the his bad behavior and his risk of committing new crimes if released.
