Executive presents dashboard of “corruption files” and asks the MP to investigate complaints

The National Commission once morest Corruption reported this May 9 that it has been enabled a platform to follow up on complaints irregularities presented by the Executive.

Santiago Palomodirector of the Commissionindicated that the board of “corruption files” contains the complaints that the Executive has presented from January 14, 2024.

“It is essential that the Public ministry investigate these complaints to find those responsible for the reported events“, indicated Palomo.

According to the Commission, the tool “strengthens transparency and accountability mechanisms of the public management of the Executive Body.”

The tool would allow citizens to “learn regarding corruption complaints presented by the ministries and institutions of the Executive Body before him Public ministry.

The presentation of the platform comes days following a conference of the Attorney General María Consuelo Porraswho criticized the “anti-corruption fight” of the Bernardo Arévalo government.

Porras pointed out that the Executive authorities “have only filed 19 complaints in 100 days of administration,” which he considered insufficient.
