The channel has revealed the identity of the former candidates who will be part of season 19 of the adventure game set in India and broadcast before the end of the year.

Fans of “Beijing Express” are spoiled. This year, they will see not one but two seasons of the famous adventure game. After the 18th season which has just ended, M6 will soon offer an All Stars version with former candidates.

Stéphane Rotenberg announced the good news on March 7 in a video published on his Instagram account. « I have exclusive information. This year, there will be two “Beijing” on M6, the current and main one, and then there will be a “Beijing All Stars” which will arrive later. I’m in Roissy because I’m going to shoot, I’m leaving by plane”, he declared. He then did not reveal more, keeping secret the names of the participants of this All Stars season but also the destination.

This Saturday, May 4, M6 broadcast the finale of season 18 of “Pékin Express” called “In the footsteps of the golden tiger”. An edition won by Romain and Laura once morest Corsican colleagues Jessica and Patricia.

On this occasion, M6 took the opportunity to broadcast the first images of the future All Stars season, which was recently filmed, in a video posted on the channel’s X account. We discover that this new opus of the adventure game takes place in India, probably in Rajasthan, since it has been named “The Epic of the Maharajahs”.

The video also allows you to discover which former candidates have set off on an adventure once more. Seven emblematic pairs of the program are participating in this 19th season with, first of all, Christophe and Claire. The father and his daughter won season 14 of the show, broadcast in 2021. After images of their victory, we see the duo in an interview in the trailer. “I think we can win “Beijing Express” a second time”says the young woman. “We are even certain of it!”retorts his dad, still wearing his hat.

Jean-Claude and Axel, the grandfather and his grandson, who moved viewers during season 15 of the adventure game and were eliminated at the gates of the semi-finals in 2022, will also be there. Nathalie and Angie formed the pair of strangers during season 17 of “Pékin Express” broadcast last year. They recreate their duo in this All Stars version just like Clément and Émeline, the camping host friends also seen in 2023 as well as the friends Rose-Marie and Cinzia, finalists of season 14 broadcast in 2021.

The inimitable Huang and Quyen return

Other pairs well known to fans of the show, but having participated in older editions, took up their red backpack for a new adventure. This is the case of Hoang and Quyen, the brother and sister who made viewers laugh and excited so much during season 5 of the program broadcast in 2010.

Fabrice and Briac, forming the pair of unknowns during the 12th edition called “The Route of the 50 Volcanoes” in 2019, are also delighted with their return to the race. “Be prepared because we’re not going to give up, really”declares Fabrice facing the camera in this trailer which then offers images of Briac during an ordeal blindfolded, hitting his face in a metal structure because he was poorly guided by his partner and announcing that he had broken a tooth. .
