PRODUCED by the famous animation studio Bones, the seventh season of the My Hero Academia anime will continue the story from the sixth season which also features the Star and Stripe arc and the UA Traitor arc. These two arcs are the last arcs before the start of the Final War arc, towards the end of the final season’s story.

The My Hero Academia anime is an adaptation of the popular manga by Kohei Horikoshi with the original title Boku no Hero Academia which has been published since 2014. After its debut season aired in 2016, My Hero Academia’s popularity skyrocketed and managed to receive awards at various international awards, such as Best Anime series from the 2017 IGN People’s Choice Award and Best Animation at the 2018 Crunchyroll Anime Award. Not only anime, My Hero Academia has also received many adaptations such as films, original video animation (OVA), and video games.

Before watching My Hero Academia Season 7, check out the following interesting facts!

1. The Beginning of Midoriya’s Journey

My Hero Academia tells the story of the life of Izuku Midoriya, a teenage boy who really wants to become the strongest hero in Japan like his idol, All Might. Even though Midoriya doesn’t have super powers which are usually called quirks, this doesn’t make Midoriya discouraged. Until finally, Midoriya’s life changed following All Might saw him saving his friend, Bakugo, from criminals.

Midoriya was chosen as the heir to All Might’s quirk, namely One for All. Since then, Midoriya has continued to train diligently until he was finally accepted into UA High School, the best hero school in Japan.

2. Increasingly tense conflict

Midoriya’s life while attending UA High School was quite peaceful without any major problems. However, all that changed when My Hero Academia entered its sixth season which presented the Paranormal Liberation War arc and the Dark Hero arc.

After the heroes get information regarding the Paranormal Liberation Front, the most dangerous criminal organization in Japan, a big war begins. After the war occurred, many things changed, including the setbacks experienced by the heroes.

Many dangerous criminals begin to roam Japan, putting the country’s peace at great risk. Therefore, Midoriya decided to leave UA High School to find and defeat the criminals roaming around.

After Midoriya left UA High School, his classmates decided to find and help Midoriya defeat the criminals. They also persuaded Midoriya to return to UA High School because what Midoriya did at that time was too reckless and might get him caught up in a plan made by the strongest villain in Japan, All for One. Midoriya finally gave up and returned to UA High School, guarding the school with his friends and devising a new strategy to defeat All for One.

3. Heroes Team Up to Defeat the Strongest Villains

In My Hero Academia season seven, the strongest heroes from the United States, Star and Stripe, arrive in Japan to help defeat All for One. Even though All for One had anticipated this, Star and Stripe’s quirk would overwhelm him during the fight. Not only filled with action, the seventh season also presents an arc with an interesting plot, regarding the existence of a traitor at UA High School whose identity has not been identified. Even though the seventh season of My Hero Academia looks different compared to previous seasons, this has not reduced the fans’ enthusiasm.
