Social Insurance has announced the categories who are entitled to the pension of a deceased social insurance member, and these categories are as follows:

  • The spouse of the deceased and the divorced woman if she was within the waiting period.
  • Children of the deceased subscriber aged under 21 or under 26 while in school and disabled people of all ages.
  • The daughters of the deceased until marriage, and the daughters of the deceased divorced and widowed if she does not have a young man over 25 years old.
  • The descendants of the deceased, including sons and daughters, whom he supported before his death (provided they meet the conditions specific to sons and daughters of the deceased).
  • The father and mother of the deceased, according to those who were dependent on him (the father must be incapable of working or over 60 years old).
  • The grandfather and grandmother of the deceased, whoever was dependent on him (the conditions of the father and mother of the deceased being identical).

Pension eligibility for heirs in Saudi Arabia

For the paper to be entitled to the deceased participant’s pension, certain mandatory conditions must first be met, which are as follows:

  • The participant must have died as a result of a work accident or setback resulting from a work accident.
  • If the member received a pension before his death due to retirement, non-occupational disability, total disability or partial permanent disability.
  • At least 3 consecutive months must have passed since the joint death, or 6 separate months (in the case of death occurring at work).
  • The deceased member must have subscribed to the insurance for a period of 120 months (if he was retired).
