“After speaking with the victim’s family, we can confirm that the child who died as a result of the incidents in Hainault was 14 years old and not 13,” law enforcement added.
London Metropolitan Police (MET) Chief Superintendent Stuart Bell told media that officers and emergency services were deployed to treat several victims in Hainault.

“This must have been a terrifying incident for those involved. I know the community will be shocked and alarmed,” Deputy Commissioner Ade Adelekan said in a note.
The MET also ruled out that there is any threat to citizens as a result of the attack.
