The title of the best-dressed star of the Met Gala 2024, whose main theme was “Garden of Time”, goes to Zendaya. In three spectacular outfits, the star proved that she deserves the title of fashion icon.
Law Roach and Zendaya have proven once more that they are the most important fashion duo of the year. Among the spectacular outfits of the Met Gala 2024, the ones worn by Zendaya aroused the greatest admiration. After the promotional tour of “Dune: Part II” and the film “Challengers”, the expectations for the actress and the creator of her style during the most important fashion event were huge. They lifted them without the slightest effort.
Zendaya wowed in John Galliano’s creation at the 2024 Met Gala
This was the moment everyone had been waiting for. As soon as Zendaya appeared on the famous steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, all cameras turned towards her. One of the hosts of this year’s Met Gala appeared in the company of her stylist Law Roach in an amazing dark blue Maison Margiela dress designed by John Galliano. The mermaid cut of the dress with a corset beautifully emphasized the actress’s statuesque figure. The dress made of organza shimmering in the lights in the shade of a stormy sea and disturbing strong green, with a hand-embroidered bodice, intricate applications as if from a secret garden, and huge drapes on the back in the shape of flowers was the quintessence of drama and perfectly reflected the theme of this year’s event, which encouraged inspiration from nature. The haute couture styling was complemented by a headpiece with a veil and a protruding feather by Stephen Jones for the Maison Margiela fashion house, as well as the star’s strong make-up – vinyl lips in the shade of forest fruit, smoky eyes in a similar color and ultra-thin eyebrows.

Met Gala 2024: Zendaya outdid herself in a dress from the Givenchy archives
Zendaya appeared in another outfit during the Met Gala 2024. Although it seemed that it mightn’t be more spectacular than the first one, the actress surprised by appearing bathed in black taffeta. Her second creation is a never-before-worn vintage Givechy design from the spring 1996 collection (the year Zendaya was born), also designed by John Galliano. A wide black dress exposing her shoulders, with lacing on the chest and waist, with flared sleeves was complemented by another fancifully shaped headdress, filled with colorful roses and diamond earrings.
