She was always a slightly different “mission”. Beautiful Iva Kubelková abounds in natural intelligence and bases herself on family values. Although she dated the legendary Jaromír Jágr, she found happiness with the much older architect Georg Jirask.
Model and presenter Iva Kubelková was born on May 8, 1977 in Písek, where she also spent most of her childhood. When she was fourteen, she moved with her mother to Prague, where she later completed a private high school specializing in economics. Today, she is a woman with a master’s degree in Social and Mass Communication.
Breakthrough year 1996
During her studies, her mother entered Iva Kubelková in the Miss Czech Republic contest, where she eventually won the first runner-up crown. In the same year, she met her first great love, which was Jaromír Jágr.
Their story began in 1996 at a party in the Palace of Culture, and their love lasted for three years. At the time, it was rumored that the hockey player was not mature enough for a relationship.

After breaking up with Jágr Kubelková, she dated car driver Martin Koloc. But the relationship ended in a stormy breakup. Server Expres reports that the model caught her partner in a changing room with another woman during a fashion show. Besides, it wasn’t the first time he’d been unfaithful to her.
“It doesn’t mean we live as brother and sister. But if partners are only comfortable as lovers and have nothing to talk regarding, it’s bad. A partner must be a person with whom you have something to say, with whom you can discuss your worries.” Kubelková revealed regarding the breakup in an interview for Story in 2002.
She recognized the right one thanks to her father
Although Kubelková experienced several unhappy loves, she found her fateful partner following all. It happened twenty-two years ago by accident. “I saw Iva for the first time on our boardwalk, where she came with her dad, who was a friend of mine. I still remember her wearing white sports shoes. She borrowed a horse and went for a ride by herself.” architect Georg Jirasek remembers it vividly.
Two future models?
Two daughters were born to Kubelková and Jirask. Natália was born in 2004, followed by Karolína five years later. The older daughter became independent some time ago and lives with her partner, the well-known singer and actor Adam Mišík.
“Natálka has left, but at the same time she has become very independent thanks to occasional work, she earns extra money by modeling, taking photos or collaborating on social networks. So she left saying that she is really completely independent. That happened when she was eighteen, and I haven’t had to give her a penny since then.” says Kubelková, who is very proud of her daughter. Natálie has already done several modeling shows, and the younger Karolína also has modeling experience.

Iva Kubelková established herself not only as a model, but also as a presenter, actress, and even a singer. She hosted a reality show The Chosen One, Home Alone or now a program regarding celebrities Showtime. Finished idyll and harmony
Iva Kubelková lives at home with only her husband and younger daughter, yet the same harmony prevails in the house and Iva still speaks to her husband as Mr. Božský. “Finding a soulmate in life with whom you can pair up and start a family is a gift and I cherish it. And no one will spoil it for me, I wish it to everyone” says the model.
Although they have been together for over twenty years, once they are apart, they miss and look forward to each other. Every goodbye is then accompanied by a loving kiss. “I think it’s the little things that matter,” he stands up for himself.
Wedding? They don’t need this to be happy
Many are surprised that the couple, following so many years of living together, did not confess their love at the altar. However, Iva and George do not need a wedding to be happy, and life “on a pile” suits them.
The presenter even says that if one day her partner asked her to marry him, she would think regarding whether to say “yes” to him or not. “I just feel that when things work, it’s good not to change them,” adds the model.
