DK-MSZP-Dialogue

“Hungary joined the EU in 2004. However, in the past 14 years since Viktor Orbán took office, the country has gone into decline.”

This complained Klara Dobrev, Chairman of the List DK-MSZP-Párbeszéd bei einer Wahlkampfveranstaltung in Salgótarján. Budapest’s OB Gergely Karácsony and Kata Tüttő (MSZP) were among the speakers.

Hungary was first lapped by the Baltic countries, then by the Poles, the Czech Republic and finally by Slovakia. Meanwhile, residents of Békés County worked in Romania because they would get higher wages there. “The only thing this government cares regarding is theft. That’s why we will replace them,” emphasized Dobrev.

Don’t let them drive you out of Europe

If enough people show in the EP elections and the local elections on June 9th that they are fed up with this system, then the alliance will call for early elections. According to Dobrev, it is a shame that Hungary has been a member of the EU for twenty years and that this is not being celebrated by Orbán and the Fidesz government.

“But that doesn’t matter, we will remain European Hungarians even if Orbán bows to Putin or other Eastern despots. Because we Hungarians belong to Europe and we will not let anyone drive us out of this Europe,” concluded Dobrev.
