A Tete Pineda He looked very excited as soon as he stepped onto the ‘X Factor’ stage. The participant told the jury that he came “to celebrate life”, very happy to return to the stage. The story behind his words and his performance in the talent show brought tears to the eyes of the jury.
Tete Pineda related how following taking a leave of absence to dedicate himself to music, he fell from a stage and as a result of the tests they found that he he had cancer in his head. “I’m here to tell you that I have bloomed once more. My hair has grown like spring and I have come to celebrate with you,” explained the participant, who was called to appear at the casting just when he was at the oncologist. “I saw another opportunity and I thought ‘Life is for me’. “I have died and I have risen,” he confessed in his presentation.
The participant sang ‘I’m a lucky guy’, a song full of meaning and that caused Vanesa Martín, Willy Bárcenas, Abraham Mateo and Lali to become excited like never before. Tears came with the performance, reaching the point that even Lali found it difficult to speak followingwards.

What you have had to go through, what to overcome, the bravery you have put on to come to a program (…) You You have shown us tonight that the greatest treasures in the world cannot be bought“, Vanesa Martín reacted.
Tete Pineda later received Willy Bárcenas’ affectionate appreciation, while Lali still mightn’t stop crying and Abraham Mateo composed himself. Besides of full of ‘Yeses’ from the jurythe participant got another nice surprise: a message from the pediatric oncology ward where he collaborates.
