This Monday, the complaint of the social communicator, Anny de Trindade, went viral on the networks, who exposed the sexual harassment of which she is a victim by a citizen whom she identifies as Rebeca García.

She stated that the “woman is dedicated to harassing innocent women,” a situation that has her “fed up” and that the law only protects García because she is a woman.
“Since approximately 2020, this woman has called me from different phone numbers, written on Instagram, insists on sending me gifts to my work,” Trindade said in an X thread.
The communicator also highlighted that one of her friends is also harassed by García, in addition, she revealed images of the woman.

Anny de Trindade’s words were supported by the writer and audiovisual producer, Diego Vega, who revealed that “Rebeca García” has tormented several women.
He added that he even illegally entered private properties, “harassing them, chasing them by car and even threatening them with death.”

“Rebeca not only ‘appears’, she follows you through fake accounts, she writes to you on Twitter, text messages, Instagram, email, (…) threatening you, exposing terrifying fantasies and macabre thoughts,” he highlighted.
He assured that this situation has been occurring since 2017, mainly in the El Hatillo municipality, specifically in areas such as Los Naranjos, Alto Hatillo and La Lagunita.
“When the victims have tried to report García to (…) the Hatillo Police, Cicpc and the Ministry of Interior Relations have declared that they cannot do anything due to alleged psychiatric problems,” he said.

Vega assures that the victims of “Rebeca García” have felt abandoned by the institutions, which seem to wash their hands of this problem.
“The victims are alone, the stalker’s family claims that ‘she doesn’t do anything’ or that ‘we don’t know how to handle her’ and the institutions wash their hands,” he concluded.
