According to Turkish Trade Minister Omer Bolat, the suspension of trade between Turkey and Israel will last until a permanent ceasefire is reached in Gaza and the unhindered flow of humanitarian aid to the region is ensured.
THE Turkey yesterday suspended all exports and imports to and from Israelciting the “exacerbating humanitarian tragedy” in the Palestinian territories.
According to the protothema, Israel’s uncompromising stance and the worsening situation in Gauze led Turkey to suspend trade, Bolat said in a speech in Istanbul, announcing April trade figures. The volume of trade between the two countries was set at $6.8 billion in 2023.
