The woman, who was a retired teacher, died tragically in a fire that broke out in the living room and quickly spread to the other rooms. The 77-year-old woman was found in the kitchen, unconscious, following she failed to escape from the flames.
The alarm was raised in the early hours of Easter Sunday when neighbors alerted the Fire Service, and 16 firefighters with 4 vehicles rushed to the scene and quickly brought the fire under control before it spread to the other houses, but the woman was unable to escape and suffocated in the smoke. , before being found charred by the fire department.
According to the neighbors, the unfortunate old woman went to her brother’s Easter celebration every year, however, this year due to her deteriorating health, she stayed in her apartment.
