For the case, a case file was filed once morest a man and a woman, for the crime of aggravated theft.
In particular, as emerged from the investigation by the police, in collaboration with police officers from the Tembo Larissa Police Department, the aforementioned man, acting together with two of his accomplices, and using a vehicle owned by the woman, systematically committed house burglaries, taking money and jewelry.
In the vehicle they used, they placed license plates that they had removed from parked vehicles in areas of Pieria and Larissa.
From the investigation so far, it was found that between September 1 and November 11, 2023, they committed 10 house burglaries in areas of Pieria and Larissa, where money and jewelry were taken from 7 of them, the total value of which exceeds 11,000 euros .
It was also established that in the same period of time they removed the license plates from a total of 5 parked vehicles, in areas of Pieria and Larissa.
The investigation of the police continues both for the identification of the details of their unknown accomplices, as well as for their possible participation in other similar criminal acts.
The case filed once morest them will be submitted to the Katerini First Instance Prosecutor.
