And the members of the security explain the situation: “He is part of a group of thieves who buy low-cost tickets from Bucharest, Krakow and other cities with the sole intention of cleaning up the Duty Free shops, both in the departure airports and in those of arrival. They fill their trolleys with at least a thousand euros of goods, compared to a flight that costs just under 100 euros.” And once more: “The profile is high. In the last 20 years here we have denounced high prelates, magistrates, lawyers, teachers who take school groups on trips, teachers of constitutional law, painters, artists”. “There’s a bit of everything, actually, but the professionals stand out, there’s no doubt regarding it”, a tip from a policeman. In total there are 4-5 interventions per day by the police, with an average of 150 per month.

“It is unbearable to have to witness almost every day someone who earns a boatload of money and steals everything. There are raids all the time here. Fassino causes a sensation but I assure you that many other high professionals also have the same habit”, the outburst of an employee of the shop collected by Repubblica, who tries to highlight that it is not only the PD deputy who behaves like this. As if this were a mitigating factor.
