Asunción, IP Agency.- Public institutions are carrying out compliance verifications with health protocols at health hotels that currently provide lodging services. During the first and second day, 13 hotels in the department of Itapúa were verified.
Within the framework of the verification of the application of biosafety, labor and occupational safety standards and management of personal protective equipment, the National Secretariat of Tourism (Senatur), the Ministry of Public Health and the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security (Mtess), began on Tuesday with the inspection of hotel establishments in the city of Encarnación, in the department of Itapúa.
During the first and second day, 13 hotels were verified, most of which had participated in the virtual training carried out by the Senatur and Health portfolios, in the face of the new normal.
These demonstrated that they were complying with the instructions during the webinars on biosafety, mental health, hygiene management and protective equipment, which were led by the technical advisor of the General Directorate of Planning and Institutional Coordinator of the Hotel Health Strategy, Gustavo Ortiz.
Already at the facilities, the delegation verified that all accommodations demonstrated knowledge and implementation of the biosafety protocol acquired in the virtual training given by Senatur and the Ministry of Health. Likewise, the empowerment of officials on the management of the biosanitary protocol.
The officials in charge of these inspections are: for the Senatur, Diego Aponte and Celina Saavedra, for the Mtess the director of the Itapúa regional, as well as the technical advisor of the Hotel Health Strategy.
