Israeli Prime Minister rejects ceasefire deal – World

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected any ceasefire deal with Hamas.

Netanyahu said in a meeting of his cabinet that ‘giving in to the demands of Hamas would be the worst defeat for the Israeli state. This would be a huge victory for Hamas, Iran and the satanic forces, so Israel will never give in to Hamas’ demands… and will continue to fight until its goals are achieved’.

Israel’s strict siege of the Gaza Strip has left over two million people in Gaza in dire straits, and according to the United Nations, famine-like conditions exist in most parts.

According to Qatar-based Ismail Haniyeh, the Israeli prime minister ‘wants to find a permanent justification for continuing aggression, expanding the scope of the conflict and sabotaging efforts by various mediators and parties’.
