Border protection / illegal immigration
Written by Rainer Ackermann
Last year, illegal border violators carried out almost 200 attacks on border guards and police officers on the southern border with Serbia. In addition to eight more serious physical injuries, there was a large number of property damages, some of which were significant.
The State Secretary of the Ministry of the Interior, Bence Rétvári, together with the Prime Minister’s chief advisor for internal security, György Bakondi, invited people to a special show in the city forest. Border guard vehicles were on display there, which were vandalized by illegal migrants during operations to protect the Schengen external border with Serbia. The State Secretary made no secret of his intention to demonstrate how dangerous the border guards’ activities are.
Warning shots once morest aggressive migrants
The smugglers repeatedly deliberately bring larger groups to the border in order to have an intimidating effect on the border guards and the police officers who are doing their patrol duty. There was intense stone throwing and in some cases firearms were even used.
The border guard has learned from previous years to protect the windshields of vehicles with protective grilles, but their bodywork is significantly damaged by the aggressive immigrants. In order to keep aggression in check, border guards have only been allowed to fire warning shots if necessary since January.
Bakondi: “They don’t want to pay into the pension funds”
Rétvári criticized the EU headquarters, which wants to require its member states to maintain a complex apparatus to control the flow of migrants. These funds would be withdrawn from the Cohesion Fund. Bakondi sarcastically noted that anyone who sees these demolished cars should finally understand that these people “certainly do not want to fill the shortage of skilled workers or contribute to the pension funds.”
Since these predominantly young men hide their identities, the authorities would not know anything regarding any contacts with terrorist organizations or criminal gangs. One should be aware of these dangers, because illegal migrants are guided across Europe’s borders and equipped with technology on their way to the “golden west” by professional smuggling gangs. It can hardly be a coincidence that the number of illegal immigrants since 2015 has hovered around the one million per year that was set out in the infamous Soros plan.
Bad helpers, good helpers
The chief advisor referred to a little-noticed but no less hair-raising point in the EU’s new migration pact: While smugglers who bring their “human cargo” across the border in exchange for money can be prosecuted for this, pseudo-NGO helpers have recently been allowed to do the same Their actions are not punished, even if they are “adequately compensated for their actions” by their clients in the capitals of the West. “It is the highest expression of absurdity that equality before the law is abolished,” concluded Bakondi.
