The employees of Mol and O&GD found a new oil deposit, reports Hvg.hu. The deposit located in the Tura area is capable of producing a thousand barrels of crude oil per day.
The Tura-D-3 well was started to be drilled last summer and eventually found oil at a depth of 2.1 km. The well produces one thousand barrels of crude oil per day, 49 percent of which goes to Mol, which accounts for five percent of its domestic production.
There are still four research concessions in the area, of which the Danish area belongs to Mol.
