Klopp comments on news that Liverpool FC has reached an agreement with his successor

England – Liverpool club coach, German Jurgen Klopp, commented on the news of the “Reds” agreement with Dutchman Arne Slot, coach of Feyenoord, in order to succeed him next season.

Klopp, who will leave Liverpool at the end of the current season, said in statements highlighted by the Liverpool Echo Network: “Contacting the new coach is not my decision. “I am not in a position to give advice.”

“When new people come, if they want to know something, they can contact me,” he explained. The whole world has my phone number unfortunately. “This means that the new people at the club will own it too.”

He added: “We can talk regarding everything.” I love talking regarding everything in this club. I like to talk to everyone, no matter who they are, no problem. But it’s not regarding me… I will give everything I know regarding anything.”

He continued: “The new coach will take over a wonderful legacy and a wonderful squad. Four weeks ago, everything was fine. It was like: We can do it (winning Liverpool with all the titles)… We can do it.. We need that.”

Arne Slott is preparing to take over the helm of Liverpool coaching, succeeding Klopp, following the terms of his transfer from Dutch Feyenoord were agreed in principle.

Klopp leaves Liverpool following a period that lasted more than 8 years, during which he won a group of titles, most notably the English Premier League and the Champions League.
