As Index reported, according to Csaba Molnár, the vice president of the Democratic Coalition (DK), Péter Magyar made comments regarding Klára Dobrev’s appearance. The politician also shared a video clip in which the vice-chairman of the Tisza Party spoke to political science students at the POLIP Public Camp in Skolya.
“Klára Dobrev is so scary, but if I were a child or if I had a child, maybe I wouldn’t push her there with a stroller, so that she doesn’t stop growing,” said Péter Magyar.

The co-chairman of the Hungarian Socialist Party (MSZP) also reacted to the statement made by the vice-chairman of the Tisza Party regarding Klára Dobrev. According to Ágnes Kunhalmi, so far the only women in opposition politics have received such offensive, sexist comments from Fidesz.
“Péter Magyar came from a political culture where this kind of attitude and way of thinking regarding women is commonplace. It seems that he cannot or does not want to change this,” he wrote Facebook postco-chairman of MSZP.
He added that this trend should not be supported and that more women are needed in politics.
