Chiara Ferragni has already marked the date on her calendar. In fact, the hearing on the merits at the Lazio Regional Administrative Court for the discussion of the administrative appeals presented last February by the influencer on the pandoro-gate affair has been set for 17 July. The lawyers Giorgio Fraccastoro and Fabio Cintioli, on behalf of the influencer, have asked to cancel the provision with which in December 2023 the Antitrust imposed a fine of over 1 million euros for the alleged misleading advertising linked to the sale of the Pandoro Pink Christmas of the Balocco.

As Milano Finanza reports, on the same day the provision imposed on the company will also be discussed, sanctioned 420 thousand euros for the same story. Codacons will be present on the front line, which, through the mouth of president Carlo Rienzi, outlines the strategy that will be followed in court: “We will ask the TAR to confirm the Antitrust sanction and reject all the requests of Ferragni and Balocco, strengthened by the recent sentence of the Court of Turin which confirmed the offenses already sanctioned by the Guarantor Authority. We want to dismantle the defense theses that would like to shift all responsibility onto the consumers who purchased the product and who would have misunderstood the messages sent by the parties”.
