First, ‘Robot Sumo’ which is a competition where autonomous or semi-autonomous robots are designed and programmed to compete in Sumo, pushing other robots out of the match circle or stopping the opponent from moving.
Second, ‘Robot Soccer’ is a sport involving autonomous robots designed to play football once morest opposing teams. Each robot is equipped with sensors, data processing and navigation capabilities to move around the field, detect the ball and interact with its teammates.
The third ‘Line Follower Robot’ is a robot designed to follow a line or path that has been determined visually. The four ‘Creative Design and Build Robots’ are types of robots that have the ability to produce works of art or other creative works.
Fifth is the ‘Transporter Robot’. A transporter robot is a type of robot specifically designed to carry out the task of transporting or transporting goods from one place to another. These types of robots vary in design and size. These range from small robots used inside production facilities or warehouses, to larger autonomous vehicles used outdoors to lift goods independently.
Sixth is the ‘Robot Amphibious Solar Vehicle’ which is a type of robot vehicle designed to operate on land and water. This robot uses solar power as its main energy source. Equipped with solar panels installed on its surface to capture solar energy and convert it into electricity to power the robot.
Seventh, there are also creative robots that are driven via smartphone with WiFi
“Currently there are almost 400 registered teams and this will continue for the next week. Our estimate is that our target is 700 national teams for these 7 categories, and with a target of 3000 participants and 10 thousand visitors we hope to break the Muri record,” he said.
Furthermore, Robotics itself is expected to be included in the sports agenda in Indonesia and also the educational curriculum.
