MEMBER of Commission II DPR RI Aida Muslimah handed over 10 land certificates during the socialization of the Complete Systematic Land Registration (PTSL) program in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Kalsel), together with
Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN).
“The DPR has the duty and authority to support the strategic programs of the Ministry of ATR/BPN, including the PTSL program,” Aida told ANTARA in Banjarmasin, Saturday.
Aida stated that to make the PTSL program a success, the Land Office also needs to collaborate with regional governments because the success of PTSL does not only depend on the ministry, but there is a role from the regional government and the community.
The people’s representative from the electoral district (Dapil) of South Kalimantan 2 also reminded the public of the importance of installing land boundary markers so that land conflicts and land issues, which have become crucial due to the emergence of land dispute cases, do not occur.
The PTSL program, he added, is expected to be able to carry out massive and complete land registration by the government so that people can legally obtain their land rights through certificates.
Meanwhile, Head of the BPN Regional Office for South Kalimantan Province, Abdul Azis, said that obtaining a certificate is easy if five conditions are met, namely the land must be there, the boundaries and size are clear, there must be proof of ownership, the owner is clear, there are no problems and the administration costs are paid off.
The PTSL program is a free land certification activity provided by the government to the community and aims to provide legal certainty for land owners. (Z-8)
