Asunción, IP Agency.- This Tuesday the 30th, office number 21 of the General Directorate of the Civil Status Registry (DGREC), dependent on the Ministry of Justice, was opened to facilitate the identity registration of people.
Now he is in the Fernando de la Mora Maternal and Child Hospital as well as in many other hospitals throughout the country, especially in the border areas, in order to reaffirm Paraguayan sovereignty.
This new space is the result of inter-institutional work and collaboration for the benefit of citizens, which reflects the commitment of various government entities to strengthening public services throughout the country.
In addition to the inauguration of the module, the Single Person Registry System (RUP) was enabled in said hospital. This tool facilitates online registration of births that occur in that location.
This initiative is part of the Government’s public policies that seek to guarantee that newborns are registered when they leave the medical center, thus promoting greater coverage and accuracy in the country’s vital statistics.
“We thank all the institutions that collaborate to bring services closer to citizens, reaffirming our commitment to the well-being and development of the community of Fernando de la Mora,” said the general director of the Civil Status Registry (REC), Rigoberto. Bramble.
The event was chaired by the Minister of Justice, Ángel Ramón Barchini, and the general defender of the Ministry of Public Defense, Lorena Segovia, also participated; the vice minister of Regional Development of the Ministry of Children and Adolescents, Diana Verónica Arguello; the director of Specialized Hospitals of the Ministry of Public Health, Ana Collante; and the national director of the National Institute of Statistics (INE), Iván Ojeda.
Also present were the director of the Maternal and Child Hospital, Juan Gabriel Martínez Miranda; the general director of the Civil Status Registry, Rigoberto Zarza; and the general secretary of the REC, Sergio Barúa.
