The fast food chain Kentucky Fried Chicken or better known as KFC ventures into cosmetics with its first fragrance: a seemingly disruptive launch that synchronizes with the trend of gastronomic perfumes o’gourmand‘, which smell like certain foods such as cakes, desserts or other types of foods or drinks.
The chain’s debut fragrance pays tribute to the flavor of its latest menu item: a chicken burger, crispy onions and tangy BBQ sauce. The perfume thus dilutes all those flavors in an aromatic expression through notes of smoky wood and charcoal that recall sizzling spices and marinated meats; while its base notes evoke its woody and earthy base.
