Video: Netflix recording is mistaken for a CJNG operation
A video went viral on social networks in which alleged CJNG hitmen are seen arriving at a Mexican town; However, they were actors in a new Netflix series.

Through social networks, a video began to circulate in which a group of alleged hitmen walking the streets of a town in Mexico.
According to various accounts of X, these images corresponded to a Security “ring” created by the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) in order to protect its leader: Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, alias “El Mencho”.
“The CJNG has blocked the streets so that His Majesty El Mencho and his entire entourage can coexist freely,” was one of the messages that accompanied the video.
The images spread on social networks, despite their low quality, They showed a subject dressed in blue who was supposedly Nemesio Oseguera Cervantesa drug trafficker for whom the US offers a reward of US$10 million.
However, following reviewing the video, it was revealed that it was not a meeting of hitmen from the four letters cartel to protect “El Mencho.” but of the recording of a series of Netflix.

According The Herald Mexico, the video spread on social networks was not a CJNG operation. lThe reality is that these were the first recordings of the series Gringo Hunter.

This Netflix series is inspired by “an existing elite Mexican police unit that catches American fugitives in Mexico,” according to its description.
