The difference of 1 percentage point is, however, within the margin of error of 3 percentage points, the news agency points out.
The survey was completed on Tuesday. Biden’s lead has shrunk since the last poll, which was conducted at the very beginning of April. Then the incumbent president led by 4 percentage points over challenger and former president Donald Trump.
Many on the fence
The survey shows that many voters are on the fence ahead of the presidential election in the United States on November 5. Around 28 per cent of the registered voters who have been asked state that they either have not chosen a candidate, prefer to vote for other candidates or perhaps will not vote at all.
In the survey, 8 percent state that they will vote for Robert Kennedy Jr. if he is on the ballot with Biden and Trump. Trump leads among men
Among men, Trump leads with 41 percent, once morest Biden’s 35. Among women, Biden is ahead, with 35 percent, once morest Trump’s 33.
The online survey includes responses from 856 registered voters across the United States.
