An investment of $2,051 million and 95,190 beneficiaries last year were the main achievements of the National Training and Employment Service, Sence Ñuble, highlighted by the regional director Leandra Macías Leiva in the public account management 2023, carried out in the commune of Quirihue .
The regional head of the service explained that the people who accessed subsidies were 38,908, those who received some type of support or benefit through labor intermediation totaled 49,039 and those who were trained with courses and certified their work skills reached 7,243; In the latter, he highlighted the work carried out in the 21 communes of the country with training in trades, where the province of Itata (Quirihue, Coelemu, Ránquil, Trehuaco, Portezuelo, Ninhue and Cobquecura) concentrated 27 courses, benefiting 439 people.
Inspection processes in the 21 communes, 7,869 citizen services and the creation of the Regional Training Council, with powers that were delegated by the government in its commitment to address with dialogue the challenges of development and training in trades with territorial relevance, were the topics which the director also presented.
In addition to highlighting the main achievements of the service that she heads, Leandra Macías Leiva, indicated that the challenges of the service in Ñuble this 2024 are the implementation of the care sector program, bridging the gender gap, continuing with the decentralization of courses, strengthening inspection processes, promote the national integrity system and value teamwork through SENCE’s 2024 application for the annual award for institutional excellence.

“We are a service that is decentralizing courses in general; That is why it is no coincidence that the public account was made here in the city of Quirihue, which shows that as a government we are reaching all the territories of the region,” said the Seremi of Labor and Social Welfare of Ñuble, Eduardo Riquelme Lagos. .

“Different courses have been offered, also focused on women who are the main users of the resources provided by the National Training and Employment Service; so, therefore, we invite women to join in and participate.
