On Friday, April 26, the MP for Achaia of the Democratic Patriotic Movement NIKI, Spyridon Tsironis, accompanied by the Movement’s Achaia prefectural head, Panagiotis Kostopoulos, met with the rector of the University of Patras, Christos Bouras, following his invitation.
The discussion was held in a very good atmosphere and Mr. Bouras gave a detailed briefing on the problems plaguing the University of Patras. Mr. Tsironis listed the problems and promised that he will examine them thoroughly and highlight them in the Parliament.
Finally, following thanking Mr. Bouras, he emphasized the importance of the University’s role for the city of Patras and its relationship with the University General Hospital of Patras, “Our Lady of Help”, something we tend to forget. Finally, he declared his support for the most important educational work of the University”.
