According to Ukrainian sources, three people were killed in a Russian rocket attack in Odessa. Three more people were injured, Mayor Hennadij Trukhanov said today on the Telegram online service. A large part of Ukraine’s economically important grain exports are handled through the port of Odessa on the Black Sea.

Russia repeatedly attacks Odessa and its port with missiles and drones. According to Ukrainian reports, five people were killed in an attack on Monday.

At least two people were killed in a Russian airstrike with guided bombs in the northeastern Ukrainian region of Kharkiv, authorities said. They died when a car was hit, said regional governor Oleh Synjehubov.

Meanwhile, the leadership in Moscow ordered more and faster arms deliveries for the Ukraine war. This is necessary to “maintain the required pace of the offensive,” said Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.

Ukrainian attacks on Russian refineries

According to unofficial information, Ukraine continued its series of drone attacks on Russian oil refineries overnight. In Ryazan, 200 kilometers southeast of Moscow, a refinery was damaged, an unnamed representative of the Ukrainian military intelligence service HUR told the Ukrainskaya Pravda portal. “A military target in Ryazan was hit. There is significant damage.”

The Russian Telegram channel Baza, which is close to the security services, confirmed this. There were no injuries, said Pavel Malkov, governor of the Ryazan region, which borders the Moscow region in the northwest.

According to the HUR source, the second target was an oil processing plant in the Voronezh region of Russia. The Russian Defense Ministry said Ukrainian combat drones were intercepted overnight over the four Russian regions of Voronezh, Ryazan, Belgorod and Kursk.
