Manchester United have made a €40m bid for Real Madrid goalkeeper Andrij Lunin, despite other clubs including PSG targeting the player. Lunin has become a key player for Real Madrid this season as he replaced the injured Thibaut Courtois.
He was the hero of the penalty shootout once morest Manchester City in last week’s Champions League quarter-final, making two saves. Lunin played 28 times in the league and scored 12 times. However, the player reportedly does not want to become a back-up option once more when Courtois returns, so he is open to new opportunities. Out of order, Vodafone and Digi’s services were interrupted throughout the country on Tuesday
The The National according to his information, Manchester United showed an interest in the player, and they also offered quite a bit for him. Lunin, who joined Real Madrid in 2018 and until now was mostly only a backup option, has a contract with the club until the end of the 2024-25 season.
Manchester United are understood to have made three big bids for Lunin, while Bayern Munich and PSG are also interested in the player’s services. It is not yet known what will happen, but it is certain that Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana has not been performing as well as the club’s management would expect him to.
