President Joko Widodo received an honorary visit from Singapore Prime Minister (PM) Lee Hsien Loong, on Monday (29/4). The two met on the back terrace of the veranda of the Bogor Presidential Palace, West Java.
This will be PM Lee’s last state visit to Indonesia before completing his term as leader of the Lion Country.
Also attending the visit was Singapore Deputy Prime Minister Lawrence Wong. Lawrence Wong is a candidate for PM of Singapore who will replace Lee.
Also present to welcome the courtesy visit were President-elect Prabowo Subianto who currently still serves as Minister of Defense, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Panjaitan, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung.
Also present were Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin, Minister of Industry Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita, Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi, Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi, Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology Nadiem Makarim, and Minister of Law and Human Rights Yassona Laoly.
